How Well is Your Business Supporting Your Real Goals?
Every owner knows that the point of a business is to make money. But outside of your long-term financial security, that money doesn’t actually do anything for you until you use it. If you don’t know what you are building all that wealth for, what is the point of working so hard to get more of it? This quick exercise is designed to help you make sure your daily efforts are completely aligned with your true intentions. There are absolutely no "right" or "wrong" answers here.

How to read your chart:
There is no judgment here as to what you expect your ideal life to be like. There is no correct answer for that. You can be more or less concerned with any of the dimensions of "needs." That's totally up to you.
But the "correct answer" the chart is showing you is: regardless of what those goals are, is your business enabling you to achieve them, or is it getting in the way?
A full, wide shape that extends out toward the edges on all five dimensions means you are completely satisfied with how things are going all around. Where the chart lines pull tightly inward toward the center on any specific axis, that simply shows a fulfillment gap between what you want and what you currently have.
What are your results telling you?
Think about this: more money only buys you more physical "stuff" and, if accumulated, more long-term financial security. For any other goal you may have, you need to be able to spend some of that time and some of that money on something other than the business so that you are able to get what you want out of your life.
It's not how grand your goals are that matters; it's whether your hard work is getting you where you want to be. Being realistic about that may be the reminder you need to go ahead and make some changes in the business so you can get your time back and realign where your money goes.
If you do find yourself out of alignment, the Business Value Booster Method can show you how to get your business pointed back in the direction you mean to go.
